Why is My Brake Pedal Pulsating?
If your Toyota Hilux VIII (2015–2023) shudders or pulses through the brake pedal when you apply the brakes, the most likely culprit is warped brake discs. Over time, heavy use or repeated hard stops can cause the rotors to develop uneven surfaces. This makes the brake pads grab and release unevenly as they rotate, sending vibration up through the pedal. Less common causes include worn wheel bearings, loose suspension components, or uneven tire inflation, but disc thickness variation is the number-one suspect on these trucks.
