If your Lynk & Co 03’s brake pedal throbs or pulses when you slow down, warped front brake discs are the usual suspect. Here’s how to check, what to fix, and whether it’s safe to keep driving.
Why the Pedal Pulses
That rhythmic pulsing or juddering you feel through the brake pedal is almost always a thickness variation on the brake disc surface. When the disc isn't perfectly flat, the brake pads grip and release as the disc rotates, sending a pulse back through the caliper and into the pedal. On the Lynk & Co 03, this is most often caused by uneven cooling after hard braking, a stuck caliper slider, or simply worn discs. Less commonly, it can be a wheel bearing issue or even a loose suspension component, so it's worth a proper inspection before pulling parts.
