Exeed TX Cold-Start Stall: Why Winter Makes It Worse

A cold-start stall on your Exeed TX is usually a sensor, fuel, or carbon issue.
Check these parts first—and don’t keep driving if it stalls repeatedly.

Why your Exeed TX stalls right after a cold start

When the engine is cold, the ECU adds extra fuel and holds a fast idle. In winter, that margin gets thin. A weak battery can drop cranking voltage, a coolant temperature sensor may tell the ECU the engine is warmer than it is, or a carboned throttle body may not pass enough air. Add a dirty MAF, a small vacuum leak, tired spark plugs, or low fuel pressure, and the engine can fire then die within seconds.
