A continuous ABS warning light usually means the system has disabled itself because it detected a fault, often at a wheel speed sensor. It is usually safe to drive gently to a workshop, but not to ignore.
Why the ABS light stays on
On your Kaiyi E5, the ABS light staying on continuously means the ABS controller has logged a fault and switched off ABS and, depending on the system, stability control. The most common culprit is a wheel speed sensor or its signal ring: dirt, metal debris, a cracked reluctor ring, a chafed wire, or a loose connector can all interrupt the wheel-speed signal. Less often, the cause can be a weak battery or charging voltage, a failing wheel bearing, or an ABS pump/module issue.
