A solid ABS warning light on your Kaiyi Kunlun often means a wheel speed sensor or wiring issue.
ABS is disabled, so drive gently and get the ABS codes scanned before you rely on emergency braking.
What that steady ABS light is telling you
On a Kaiyi Kunlun, the ABS lamp should come on for a few seconds at start-up and then go out. If it stays on continuously, the ABS module has logged a fault and switched off the anti-lock function. The good news is that your normal hydraulic brakes usually still work. The most common culprit is a wheel speed sensor signal that drops out — often because of a dirty or damaged sensor tip, a broken wire near the wheel, a loose connector, or a rusted or cracked tone ring on the hub. A weak battery or bad ground can also set ABS codes, so don’t overlook the basics.
