Why a Cold Start Makes Your Lancer X Stall
When the engine is cold, the ECU runs a rich fuel mixture to keep it idling. If a sensor or mechanical part is off, that mixture can be wrong, and the engine dies. Winter makes it worse because cold air, thicker oil, and lower battery voltage all stress the system. On the Lancer X, the most common culprits are a dirty throttle body, a failing coolant temperature sensor, or a vacuum leak.
