A clunk over bumps on your Logan II usually points to worn anti-roll bar links, bushes, or ball joints.
Start with those, then check top mounts and subframe bolts—and don’t ignore steering play.
Why your Logan II clunks over bumps
That hollow clunk from the front end over speed bumps and potholes is a classic Renault Logan II complaint, and in most cases it comes from wear in the suspension joints rather than anything electronic. The usual suspects are anti-roll bar drop links, worn anti-roll bar bushes, lower control arm ball joints and bushes, strut top mounts and bearings, tired shock absorbers, loose subframe bolts, or play in the steering rack and tie rods. The Logan II has no dedicated suspension sensors, so don’t chase ABS or steering-angle sensors unless you also have a warning light—start with a visual inspection and a pry-bar/shake test on the joints.
