What Causes Brake Pedal Pulsation?
When you press the brake pedal in your BYD Dolphin and feel a rhythmic pulsing or vibration, the most common culprit is uneven wear on the brake discs (also called rotors). This often happens when the discs overheat from aggressive braking, then cool unevenly, causing slight thickness variations. As the brake pads ride over these high and low spots, you feel that tell-tale pedal throb.
